When I was little, my Mom would dress me up in cute pink and purple outfits for Easter. You know the ones! I loved every minute of it, and I was blessed to be her little show off! Being in those dresses made me feel like a princess. Even at that young age, being dressed so adoringly, I felt like I could take over the world. But as a teenager growing up in small-town Wisconsin, I didn’t really cut my teeth on fashion, and it wasn’t until my early 20’s that I extended my natural eye for color and spatial design into what I was wearing.

That’s when I started watching Sex and the City.

When Vogue started getting delivered to my door.

When fashion became my passion.

 WHEN FASHION BECAME MY

PASSION

And when I established my own style: something I like to call ‘classic tomboy chic with a twist’.

Post-college, I leveraged my designer eye and and business sense toward digital marketing in the agency world, and spent over a decade strategizing and executing high profile campaigns for Target, Ford, United Airlines, Vail Resorts, and more.

When I moved to Colorado in 2014, I immediately fell in love with it. The combination of the outdoor lifestyle with the urban edge of Denver was so fresh and exciting. I had always been passionate about fashion and style and consider myself a true ‘people person’. So the idea of helping others look and feel their best, and bringing out their own true ‘Colorado style’, was something I knew I wanted to move forward with and pursue in my career, beyond my vast experience in the creative field of marketing and advertising.

In 2016, my fashion sense and passion for people inspired me to launch SheStylesCo.
In 2017, I left the ‘corporate agency world’ to become partner, president and business development badass at my own marketing agency and continue building my styling business.
In 2020, I decided to move on from my time in the marketing world to focus fully on SheStylesCo and what I love most – fashion & style. And helping people look and feel amazing.

It’s been a heck of a decade. But I’m so happy these experiences have led me to your door! I can’t wait to help you find what feels best for you, your style, and your life. Let’s find your best expression! How do you want to feel? Who are you meant to be? And what does that look like?

MY Journey

How I got here, and why it is I do what I do… the ever-so important journey to today.

To paint the full picture, it’s probably best that I share with you a defining moment, and a resulting “compelling story”, that brought me to where I am today – teaching women like you on exactly what to do to with their wardrobe in order to feel confident in their look, radiating their true style for everything they need to show up for each day. That defining moment in my life happened in the summer of 2016.

Midwest girl at heart, I grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from UW Madison with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication. I’ve always had a significantly creative side, possessing that naturally creative eye. Art class was always my favorite! It wasn’t until my early 20’s that I extended my natural eye for color and spatial design into what I was wearing. That’s when I started watching Sex and the City. When Vogue started getting delivered to my door. When fashion became my passion. And when I established my own style: something I like to call ‘classic tomboy chic with a twist’.

Post-college, I leveraged my designer eye and business sense toward marketing in the corporate and agency world.

Anne Liebman, founder of SheStylesCo. Wearing classic white button-down shirt.

I’d spent over a decade strategizing and executing high profile campaigns for Target, Ford, United Airlines, Vail Resorts, and more. With my creative side, love for design and energetic talent for working with people, my career had taken me from a fortune 100 company to a large international agency in the midwest, to smaller boutique agencies in Denver (In the midst of my career, I knew I was ready for the next adventure in my life. I moved to Colorado in 2014.) I’d gained a considerable amount of experience in the marketing industry, and I did enjoy the branding aspect of it all, the strategy behind it, the importance of the ‘why’ behind things and creating true connection for people.

I worked hard, did everything I could to try and keep my marketing clients happy (which on some days seemed impossible), tirelessly worked to please and impress my managers, putting so much effort toward getting that next promotion in order to keep moving ‘up the ladder’. I gave it everything I had. And after a while, I started to get burnt out and even began to feel resentment toward it all. I finally got to a point where I was done. I remember the day so vividly…  I showed up to work, and I had this life-altering realization— I thought to myself: Why am I doing this? I am tired of showing up to the same place every day, with the same people, doing the same thing. And for what? I don’t want to work for someone else anymore. I want to take the control back in my life. I know I’m supposed to be playing bigger, using my creative talents, gifts for understanding people in a different way, and making a real impact in this world. I was ready for that next thing in my life and career, even though I didn’t yet know what exactly that was.

The direction my mind naturally went to is the world of fashion and style. And I was good at it. Really good! Clothing, styles, trends, piecing together looks, playing with the unexpected pairings to form the most beautiful outfit creations. The creative balance and the statement pops. Could I actually make something of this?! I had all the tools I needed to create a beautiful brand, and the knowledge and experience to put it out into the world (thank you, decade of marketing.)

With some encouragement from a couple very important people in my life, I decided to go for it. With I decided to leave the corporate agency world, take the risk and boldly step into this new version of myself I knew I was ready to be—as a stylist. An entrepreneur.

It’s been a roller coaster of an adventure, so many ups, so many downs. I’ve learned to appreciate the contrast, and embrace the unknown. I now realize that ‘entrepreneur’ had always been inside me, I simply needed to let it out into the world. And when I did, it was this exciting, uncomfortable, amazing, unexpected, terrifying, fearless, risk-filled, rewarding, humbling, feminine, badass, incredible thing, all at once. I knew how important it would be to be, and stay, true to myself as I embarked on this next phase, and fully step into this up-leveled version of me. My personal style and  brand was everything if I wanted to be successful. This brand would emulate me, fully and authentically, and in the most meaningful and beautiful way.

And so much of that for me was the way I would decide to show up going forward. This was my opportunity to be exceptional. What would that look like? What would that feel like? It came easily for me, which helped me to know I had made the right decision pursuing this self-created style consulting business.

This path, this entrepreneur life, this mission to help women step into and feel that excitement and confidence coming from her true and authentic self  —and what that looks like for her. Just like I did. I have since made a commitment to dedicate the rest of my professional life to helping women who are ready to take that leap into their up-leveled version of themselves find their authentic style and emulate that look, that feeling, with pure confidence, elevating their presence and creating their path to joy and success.

Since then, I’ve worked with many private clients, spoken in front of countless groups: I live my dream of doing what I love and making a true impact, while living my downtown city lifestyle, enjoying my favorite things, and traveling the world; and I have created the Elevate Your Everyday Style – Signature Program, a series of five steps every woman wanting to step into the next up-leveled version of her and her lifestyle needs to apply to truly show up in the world the way she wants, with 100% confidence and authenticity to who she is.
